ecommerce conversion optimisation

Ecommerce conversion optimisation: help the visitor who reached your product finish the order

We improve your online store’s conversion: we review the home page, product page, cart and checkout on mobile, using tracking data and visitor recordings, then fix what stops purchases, such as photos, trust, shipping, forms and speed, measuring before and after. We start with a 20-minute call, review what you need, then send a written quote.

The visitor arrived, so why no purchase

You spent on an ad and many visitors reached a product page. A few added to the cart and fewer completed the order. Where did the rest go? One small photo does not show the product on a phone. The price is clear but shipping fees appear on the last step. The checkout asks for many fields. And nothing reassures the visitor the company is real. This scene is an illustration, not a client story, but it describes a familiar pattern.

Raising the share who complete an order multiplies what your current ad spend delivers without raising the budget, because you invest in visitors who already arrived.

How we find where the customer stumbles

Measuring the path

In GA4 we check where visitors drop along the path: product view, add to cart, begin checkout, purchase. The biggest gap shows what to treat first. That is why tracking must be right first, otherwise we would read wrong numbers.

Recordings and click maps

With Microsoft Clarity we watch real recordings of visitors going through your store: where a finger stops, where they tap an element that does not respond, where they leave. A few minutes of recordings show what hours of tables do not.

A hands-on mobile review

We open the store on different phones and act as a customer: search for a product, compare, add, check out. We walk each step with a checklist.

What we usually fix

The product page

- Photos. More than one angle, a photo with scale next to something familiar, and a photo for each colour. In the OOYAA store each colour is linked to its own photo. See the story and product photography.
- Title and description. They answer material, size, use and care, not generic phrases.
- Price and offer. The price, discount and remaining stock shown accurately.
- The buy button. Visible and sticky on mobile, with clear text.
- FAQs. Shipping, returns and exchange on the page itself.

Trust

Company details, address and WhatsApp number visible, a clear returns policy, secure-payment marks, and real reviews if you have them. We never add synthetic reviews.

Shipping and fees

A surprise on the last step is the first cause of cart abandonment. We show shipping cost and time early, the free-shipping threshold if there is one, and payment options before the customer begins. See payment and shipping integration.

Cart and checkout

We cut fields to what is needed, enable autofill and guest checkout without forcing an account, show the payment methods your customers know, and give a clear message when a card fails. Cash on delivery may save the order for someone who does not trust online payment.

Speed

A slow store loses its visitor before they see your product. See website speed optimisation.

Winning back cart abandoners

An email or WhatsApp message reminding someone who left products, with their permission. See email marketing.

A checklist we run on every store

  • Do the first photo and the buy button show without scrolling on a small phone screen?
  • Do shipping fees and time appear before the customer types their details?
  • Does every colour and size have a clear photo, and do only available ones show?
  • Can the customer buy without creating an account?
  • Does the card error message tell the customer what to do?
  • Do the WhatsApp button and phone number work from a phone in one tap?
  • Do pages open in under three seconds on a normal connection?
  • Does the order confirmation arrive as soon as payment completes?

We fill in this list after visiting the store ourselves and rank the findings by expected effect and ease of fixing.

Small tests instead of big changes

When traffic allows, we change one thing at a time: a photo, button text, or where shipping fees show, and compare the result before applying it more widely. With few visitors a statistical test does not work, and we rely on qualitative review and experience from similar stores. We tell you so openly.

What we do not promise

We promise no percentage gain and no sales. Results vary with your product, price and audience. What we promise is a review built on your store’s own data, treatment of what it shows, and measurement that reveals whether a change helped.

Project steps

  1. A call. The platform, monthly visitors and where you suspect the problem.
  2. A written quote that sets the scope and timeline.
  3. The audit. Tracking, recordings and manual review, with a report of the top ten obstacles ranked by impact and effort.
  4. Choose where to start with you.
  5. Implement on a test copy where possible.
  6. Measure after the changes and report the comparison.

What we need from you

Access to GA4 and your store platform, permission to edit the theme, your top products and traffic sources, and what you have already tried.

What you receive

An audit report listing obstacles and priorities, changes made to the store within the package, before-and-after measurement, and recommendations that need your decision or budget.

Packages and the written quote

We review what you need, then send a written quote that sets the scope, timeline and deliverables. The written quote fixes the scope and the timeline, and we start after you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

It varies with sector, product price and traffic source, and no one number fits all. We compare your store with its own past and measure the improvement, not with a different store.

The more visitors, the firmer the tests. With few we rely on recordings and manual review.

We change what is needed to improve conversion and do not redesign the whole store unless we agree to. If the theme itself is the obstacle, we suggest a redesign.

Yes, within what each platform lets you change in the theme. We tell you your platform's limits before we agree.

Some changes show results in days if traffic is high, and some take weeks. We agree a measurement period with you.
